1) You were fab at Manchester Pride in August and the crowd went nuts for you. One of the tracks was a cover of Blondie’s maria. Is it your next single; when is it out & on which label?
ENERGISE RECORDS are very excited about this track - and they do a lot with Eurosolution who get the tracks out there !! The release date has not been set yet, but it is imminent.
2) The best reaction on the main stage on Monday 27th was for Hazell Dean, Nicki French and yourself. How do you maintain such a loyal following?
I love what I do and I love the Scene. I think that most people like to have fun and they like to Party! I know it sounds funny but I actually like it when people come up to me and say Hi. When they will see me in the supermarket or the shops . It is because they feel they can talk to me - That is a nice feeling.
3) You are one of the best loved dance divas out there who has recorded for major hi-nrg labels such as KLONE, LOADING BAY, ENERGIZE, etc. - ALMIGHTY is the biggest British hi-nrg label. have you recorded any tracks for them or any plans to do so?
I have known Martin from Almighty for a long time. His record label has been very successful. However, the label doesn’t appear to be doing any more new recordings - so I am not sure if I will get to record with them now - but you never know !!
4) In the music industry, a lot of dance divas record tracks which are either never released or are brought out under different names. Are there any Kelly Wilde tracks in the vaults, or tracks that your fans may not know that you sang on?
Oh yes, absolutely dozens. I used to record for the Pickwick Albums. I had a record which almost came out called “One Man isn’t enough” After a huge mail out, It didn’t get released because of the situation with not having too many partners, at the time, and this song was raging !!! Wow- also tracks such as “something old Something new” , apparently charted in Argentina. “So much Love” I also recorded for Red Bus Records / With Paul Trouble
Anderson (house tracks) Called “Can’t take my eyes of you/ too good to be true” - New bag mix. Also recorded With a gorgeous Italian producer “Fabio White and Luciano” a track I wrote called “You have the Right to love” and with Per QX “C’mon show me Love. Do you want me to go on ???
5) My own personal favorite track of yours is 'Nothing But Promises', but I would say the fans favourite is 'Gloria'. Which tracks hold the best memories for you personally?
'You’d Better Be Good To Me' was one of the songs to represent England in 1990 (a song for
Europe) for the Eurovision. That was one of the best days ever!! THEN AGAIN 'Gloria' has had some of the Best memories all told because of the audiences who join in and sing it with me.
6) A number of videos including 'Gloria' & 'Nothing But Promises' are on YOUTUBE. Any funny stories about making promo clips you can share with us?
Well, I think it is hard to pinpoint really any one thing - 'Nothing But Promises' has a fabulous memory because The Slaves Of Kane did the video for me in
ARIZONA. and whereas Thelma and Louise traveled from the Grand Canyon to Phoenix we went from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon, and there was one incident when we were filming - I am meant to be angry because I can’t find my lover so I am supposed to get in the car, spin the wheels and drive off down Route 66. All set - The music kicks in I am into it and the director says “ACTION” I spin the wheels on the car in the dust, take off down the road up to a massive speed and then the director shouts "CUT". Excellent Kelly but now can we do this again on the right side of the road for America.!!!! Lol.
7) You also run a management company DANCE CRAZY MANAGEMENT who has on its books: Angie Brown,

Viola Wills among many others. How on earth do you find the time, with your touring and recording commitments?
Thank goodness for telephone, texting and emails. It has helped to cut my day down from a 20 hour day to about 12 hours - so it is all good.
8) Anything you can tell us about your new single ‘Maria’??
Yes, I have recorded “MARIA” with Klub Kidz and I think it is a Fabulous track. I actually only had two days to learn it and only heard it about 3 times before recording it .
9) What do you do to unwind after a busy day?
I love to do Yoga and watch movies to chill out. Better still when the weather is nice - have lots of friends over to have a BBQ
10) And finally Kelly; Can you share a secret or little known fact with us?
Aha, that would be telling. Ask no questions, I will tell you no lies. Oh ok., did you know that I have adopted - yes I have a beautiful daughter by the name of “BETTY”. She is my baby WOMBAT.
