My love for animals and animal protection has taken me to countries like Africa and India, but it was  in my homeland of Australia that I discovered a wonderful reserve in New South Wales which protects wild life and endangered species.  I now do a lot of work with the Symbio Wildlife Reserve in St Helensberg, N.S.W, and I sponsor and have adopted a Wombat named "Betty". I visit my ‘daughter’ every year! Since 2007 I have watched Symbio grow and take on many more rare animals, birds, reptiles and other such species.  It is an amazing experience having the chance to witness these wonderful creatures first hand, some of which may never be seen by our next generation.  To just have the chance to sit with them, and even feed some of them by hand is a feeling that is hard to put into words. The reserve has many rare and endangered species, including a couple of Pandas. Not the black and white variety (which are also very rare) but the Red Panda. This breed of Panda has less than 1,000 left in the whole world. The reserve also cares for a few Tasmanian Devils which have been hunted to almost extinction, and are about to introduce two new Tigers. This is very exciting, as there are so few Tigers left on this planet, that if Symbio can protect and rear 2 cubs – It will make so much difference. Animals will always need our help. In the wild, and also in captivity, so  Please.... please, if you feel you can help in any way, your donations would be so appreciated. All money will go to help the RSPCA , IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare)  and SYMBIO (Australian wildlife) Links will be put up soon so you could even sponsor your own baby! In the meantime,  I will keep you posted about the life of "Betty" Animal Hugs     x Kelly x
